Inaugurated in1943, the Cayenne-Félix Eboué Airport is an international airport complex situated at 13km from Cayenne in Guiana. Its main operators are Air Guyane, Air France and Air Caraïbes. Cayenne-Félix Eboué Airport operates regular flights to Maripasoula, Saül, Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, Grand-Santi, Paris, Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Miami and Port-au-Prince. Comprising of a single terminal building, the airport handles roughly 400,000 passengers per year. Cayenne-Félix Eboué Airport has more than 500 car parking spaces close to the terminal building that are available to both travellers and visitors. There are a number of car rental agencies based at the airport including Avis, Europcar and Hertz.
